| Аннотація | The paper analyses the flow through the RWTH model turbine which in the past was
frequently used as the test case in ERCOFTAC studies. The flow structure is analysed numerically using two codes: FlowER and Fine TURBO Numeca. The obtained results are compared with relevant experimental data recorded in the model turbine. The analysis has made it possible to detect main secondary vortices in the flow downstream of the turbine rotor and roughly compare their characteristic parameters: strengths and position, with the real structures. The performed analysis have confirmed the potential of the used codes for qualitative studies of unsteady flow phenomena in fluid-flow machines. |
