The main objective of the laboratory of General Chemistry is to train a student in performing inorganic chemistry experiments that are industrially relevant. At the beginning stage, it may no be exactly clear how a particular experiment may be useful to the student of a Technical University. But an experiment that is well done may fruitfully be referred to and easily recalled later when and if the need arises. It is extremely important that the student carefully learns the scientific principles upon which each experiment is based. In order to achieve this one should plan one’s work before coming to the laboratory and should
perform every step of an experiment with an inquiring mind. |
